About two weeks ago, I posted about my donation to our local library. I love donating books to the library so when I got to team up with Nickelodeon and Champions for Kids to make a donation to my library, I was very happy! Above is the picture of the donation that came from me from our local Walmart and below is the final donation! Also here was my Google + Story too!
Here was our final donation to the library. Our library is kind of small so we love donating to them. Since it helps all kids in the community, I think it's the perfect place to give books to! We actually were able to find more Nickelodeon books in other stores so we went to all different book stores!
Of course Mary ended up coming with me because she loves to donate all the books to the library!
What kid can resist reading books in the backseat of the car? Mary had to sneak in a few peeks before we got there!
Mary didn't feel like carrying the basket since it was so heavy with books! So I had to bring it in with everything else like all our return books.
After we gave our donation, they put it behind the counter so they could put barcodes on everything. Mary was excited to see that her old books were going to be a part of the library now!
We had so much fun doing this Simple Service Project so I want to make a strong Call to Action to my readers. I encourage you to participate in the Big Help Book Drive in your communities and to report it on the Champions for Kids website.
